Activities

All in-patients will receive a gift on Christmas day and will be offered wine with their meal. Staff will also receive gifts, individually on the wards and elsewhere as teams

Farmers’ Market – Sadly the organisers of the Farmers’ market are not giving Charities space anymore.

We will have a stall at the Milford Fate. This year the Milford Fete stall raised £163.

The 2021 AGM was held in person in October. We were told about the forthcoming building project to hold the new scanners.

Constant hand washing has taken its toll and we have supplied regular quantities of hand cream to staff, some donated by Milford Pharmacy. Hampers of fruit and goodies, some donated by Secrett’s have been delivered and in the summer, Hall Hunter Farm provided strawberries every week. We are very grateful for the support from the community.

Tovertafel at last!

The magic table that projects interactive images onto a table is finally in use and proved very popular with patients and staff. Representatives of Guildford Lions came to the hospital in February to present a cheque towards the software. They enjoyed playing the games at a demonstration in which they were joined by Matron Kelly and the President of the League of Friends. Watch the video below
