Summer Garden Party

The Friends will be holding the annual garden party on August 22nd at 3pm. Patients, staff, visitors and Friends welcome. Strawberries and cake will be served.

Plaque to Comedy Legends unveiled

A plaque to the script writers Ray Galton and Alan Simpson, who met as TB patients at Milford Hospital in 1948, was unveiled by Paul Merton on June 1st. The pair started their script writing career whilst patients and later went onto write such standards as Hancock's Half Hour and Steptoe and Son.

Secrett's collection, April 11

Thank you to all who helped us collect a superb £261, especially to the management of Secrett's Garden Centre who allowed us into the entrance lobby so we were sheltered from the rain!

Village Fairs

We raised over £90 at Milford Fete on June 8th and will be at Witley Fair on June 22nd. Come and find out more about what the League does whilst browsing for a book bargain. We are in urgent need of more help at our fund raising events especially with store collections and manning stalls at fairs.
